After our day at the Fair, we decided to shooby dooby down to Ruby's on PCH in Long Beach for a quick dinner. This Ruby's is very busy, but always clean and fresh looking. The service is usually good, and our server tonight was excellent!
After a day of Fair food, Sweetie Pie was feeling like healthier fare, and decided to order the BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad (with extra Ranch Dressing on the side). Everything was fresh and crisp, and the chicken very tender; and Ruby's Ranch is very good. Her mother ordered her favorite Ruby's burger- the All-American Kobe Burger with Sweet Potato Fries.The burger was perfectly prepared, and I still can't believe the little lady finished all those Sweet Potato Fries! I ordered the Ruby Dooby Double Cheeseburger (with a Kobe patty upgrade) and Parmesan-Bleu Fries. The ladies like the sweet fries, but for me the Parmesan-Bleu Fries are the BEST! And my burger! Can you say "too much meat"? Well Burger Boy can't, but this one came close. I ran out of bun! Ruby's Kobe Burgers are a 3TT favorite.
Tonight's Ruby's dinner easily gets three thumbs up from the 3 Tubby Tummys!
