We have been very fond of  Shenandoah at the Arbor in Los Alamitos (www.shenandoahatthearbor.com/) for quite some time. Not only for the charming restaurant and the lovely patio grounds, but especially for the great food, consistently excellent service and the value priced menu. Our favorite dishes include Granny's Fried Chicken, The Porterhouse Steak with Rick's Sauteed Mushrooms, The Cajun Rib Eye and The Galveston Pasta. The Baby Back Ribs and Prime Rib are also very good, as are many of the daily specials. We also enjoy the Lunch Menu and there is always something wonderful on the Dessert Menu. Each meal is started off with complimentary apple fritters-freshly baked and still warm.

My sweetie pie started with the Chicken Tomatillo Soup (very tasty); while her mother and I both had the Garden Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing on the side (they have the best Blue Cheese Dressing). The ladies both had the Filet Mignon with Bearnaise Sauce, Serrano Spinach and Mashed Potatoes. I had the New York Steak & Cabo Shrimp with Serrano Spinach on the side.

Our favorite waitress was there when we arrived and helped to get us seated at a nice table. As usual all the dishes were very well prepared and quite delicious and the service impeccable.

The 3 Tubby Tummys give tonight's Shenandoah at the Arbor dinner a very enthusiastic three thumbs up!!!
